Ingredients

  • 0.25 Cups olive oil
  • 0.25 Cups lemon juice
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 Pinch black pepper, ground to taste
  • 1 Pinch red pepper flakes, ground to taste
  • 1.5 Pounds medium shrimp, peeled

Steps

  1. In a large, non-reactive bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat. Thread the shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head. Discard any remaining marinade.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until they turn opaque.
