  • 0.67 Cups gluten-free baking mix, packaged
  • 0.5 Cups cornstarch
  • 1 Cup white sugar
  • 1 Cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.75 Cups unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) baking soda
  • 2 Large eggs, whisked
  • 0.75 Cups margarine, melted

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch square baking dish to prepare it for the batter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free baking mix, cornstarch, white sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Use a fork to sift and remove any lumps.
  3. Add the whisked eggs and melted margarine to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together with a large spoon or an electric mixer on low speed until a smooth batter forms, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
