- 1 Cups (cups) butter
- 1.5 Cups (cups) light corn syrup
- 1.5 Cups (cups) white sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, melted
- 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) vanilla extract
- 2.5 Cups (cups) pecans, minced
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10x15-inch jellyroll pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, 0.5 cup sugar, and salt. Cut in 1 cup of butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan to form a crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- While the crust is baking, mix the corn syrup, 1.5 cups sugar, eggs, 3 tablespoons melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the minced pecans.
