  • 1 Cup butter, softened
  • 1.25 Cups packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 Cup white sugar
  • 2 Whole eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) milk
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
  • 1.75 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) baking soda
  • 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) salt
  • 2.5 Cups rolled oats
  • 2 Cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Cup walnuts, minced

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the rolled oats, semisweet chocolate chips, and minced walnuts until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 10 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the cookie sheet for 1 minute before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
