Ingredients
- 2 Cups milk chocolate chips, melted
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) shortening
- 0.5 Cups butter, melted
- 0.5 Cups crunchy peanut butter
- 1 Cup confectioners' sugar
- 0.67 Cups graham cracker crumbs
Steps
- In a 1-quart saucepan, combine the chocolate chips and shortening. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth (3 to 5 minutes).
- Loosen the top paper cup from a stack, but leave it in the stack for greater stability while being coated. Using a small paintbrush, coat the inside of the top cup evenly with about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate to about 1/8-inch thickness, bringing the coating almost to the top of the cup, but not over the edge. Repeat until 30 cups are coated; refrigerate the cups.
- In a 2-quart saucepan, combine the butter and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted (4 to 6 minutes). Stir in the confectioners' sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Press about 0.5 tablespoon of filling into each chocolate cup.
- Spoon about 0.5 teaspoon of melted chocolate on top of the filling; spread to cover. Freeze until firm (about 2 hours). Carefully peel off the paper cups. Store refrigerated.
Enjoy these decadent treats as a delightful dessert or a special gift for loved ones!
