Ingredients

  • 16 Ounces (oz) package egg noodles, packaged
  • 2 Cups sour cream
  • 2 Cups creamy whipped cottage cheese
  • 1 Cup raisins
  • 0.5 Cup white sugar, divided
  • 2 Large eggs, whisked
  • 0.5 Cups unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) ground cinnamon

Steps

  1. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rapid boil. Cook egg noodles until tender yet firm to the bite, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain the noodles.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cooked noodles with sour cream, cottage cheese, raisins, 0.5 cup of sugar, and whisked eggs until well blended. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and dot the top with butter pieces.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 0.5 cup of sugar with ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the noodles.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is lightly browned, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the pudding to cool and set for about 10 minutes before serving.
