- 0.75 Cups fresh pea pods, divided
- 0.5 Large green bell pepper, minced
- 6 Cups cooked jasmine rice
- 2 Large eggs, whisked
- 0.33 Cup soy sauce
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) fresh ginger, minced
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Green onions, sliced
Steps
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the minced onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cubed chicken to the skillet along with the soy sauce, the Chinese five-spice powder, minced ginger, and garlic. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is well-coated and heated through.
