  • 1 Pound (lb) lean ground beef, ground
  • 4 Whole potatoes, peeled
  • 0.25 Cups onion, sliced
  • 1.5 Cups frozen corn kernels
  • 1 15 Ounces (oz) can cut green beans, drained
  • 1 Cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 2 8 Ounces (oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons (tsp) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) garlic salt
  • 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) dried basil

Steps

  1. Place the ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain the fat, crumble the beef, and set aside.
  2. Add the potatoes, onion, corn, green beans, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and dried basil to the browned ground beef. Stir well to combine.
  3. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. After 1 hour, add the elbow macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
  5. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
