- 1 Pound (lb) lean ground beef, ground
- 4 Whole potatoes, peeled
- 0.25 Cups onion, sliced
- 1.5 Cups frozen corn kernels
- 1 15 Ounces (oz) can cut green beans, drained
- 1 Cup elbow macaroni
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) salt
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) black pepper, ground
- 2 8 Ounces (oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 Teaspoons (tsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) garlic salt
- 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) dried basil
Steps
- Place the ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain the fat, crumble the beef, and set aside.
- Add the potatoes, onion, corn, green beans, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and dried basil to the browned ground beef. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer the mixture over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- After 1 hour, add the elbow macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
- Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
