  • 0.25 Teaspoons (tsp) ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 Teaspoons (tsp) ground cardamom
  • 2 Pounds (lbs) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut
  • 2 Whole onions, sliced
  • 1 Large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 Cups (C) fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, minced garlic, tomato paste, salt, oregano, black pepper, allspice, cinnamon, and cardamom.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Transfer the chicken and marinade to a resealable plastic bag, squeeze out excess air, and seal. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
