Ingredients
- 1 Pound (lb) linguini pasta
- 0.25 Cup butter, melted
- 5 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Pound (lb) medium shrimp, peeled
- 1 Cup bread crumbs
- 0.5 Cup white wine
- 1 Whole lemon, juiced
- 0.25 Cup light olive oil
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini pasta and cook until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add most of the minced garlic, reserving some for later use. Coat the garlic completely with butter, ensuring it does not brown.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the butter and garlic mixture. Immediately remove the pan from heat; the shrimp will not be fully cooked yet.
- Sprinkle the shrimp with breadcrumbs, enough to coat them, and transfer the entire mixture to a medium casserole dish.
- Pour the white wine and lemon juice over the shrimp. Cover the dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove the cover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil with the remaining garlic. Toss the cooked pasta with the olive oil and garlic mixture.
- Serve the baked shrimp over the pasta, with additional lemon slices on the side for garnish.
