  • 1 Pound (lb) chicken drumsticks
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) adobo seasoning
  • 0.5 0.18 Ounce (oz) packet Sazón seasoning
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 5 Large red potatoes, peeled
  • 1 Large red bell pepper, minced
  • 1 Large green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 Large onion, minced
  • 1 Bunch fresh cilantro, torn
  • 0.5 Cups dry red wine
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) olive oil
  • 5 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) ground cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) dried oregano
  • 2 Whole bay leaves

Steps

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks. Place them in a large bowl and season with adobo seasoning, Sazón seasoning, and salt. Transfer the seasoned chicken to a slow cooker and cover with the peeled potatoes.
  2. In a blender, combine the minced red and green bell peppers, minced onion, torn cilantro, red wine, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, and dried oregano. Blend until the mixture is puréed.
