Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds (lb) ground beef, ground
  • 1 Medium onion, minced
  • 10.75 Ounces (oz) can tomato puree
  • 15 Ounces (oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Cup water
  • 15 Ounces (oz) can pinto beans, drained
  • 15 Ounces (oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1.25 Ounces (oz) package taco seasoning mix

Steps

  1. In a medium stock pot, brown the ground beef, ground and onion, minced over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Drain the grease if necessary.
  2. Add the tomato puree, tomato sauce, water, drained pinto beans, drained corn, and taco seasoning mix to the pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot, topped with cheese, corn chips, sour cream, and olives if desired. Enjoy your savory taco beef soup!
