  • 1 Pound (lb) lean ground beef, ground
  • 7.25 Ounces (oz) package macaroni and cheese mix, packaged
  • 14.5 Ounces (oz) can diced tomatoes, canned
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Cup frozen peas
  • 1 Cup frozen corn
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) seasoned salt, to taste
  • 1 Cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Steps

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir the ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Stir the pasta and cheese mixture from the macaroni and cheese package into the beef.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, milk, frozen peas, and frozen corn. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer until the noodles are tender, about 12 minutes.
  4. Season with seasoned salt. Stir in half of the shredded Cheddar cheese to melt.
  5. Top the dish with the remaining Cheddar cheese before serving.
