Ingredients

  • 5 Large potatoes, peeled
  • 1 Cup sour cream
  • 16 Ounces (oz) cream cheese, packaged
  • 1 Pinch garlic salt, to taste
  • 2 Cups Cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place the potatoes in a large pot of salted boiling water. Bring the water back to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Drain well and let them cool.
  3. Once cooled, cut the potatoes into small chunks. Using an electric blender, whip the potatoes with sour cream, cream cheese, and garlic salt until smooth.
  4. Transfer the whipped potato mixture into a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
