  • 1.5 Cups (cups) bananas, mashed
  • 0.67 Cups (cup) sunflower seed oil
  • 1 Large egg, whisked
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) vanilla extract
  • 2 Cups (cups) all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 Cups (cup) white sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) baking powder
  • 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) salt
  • 1 Cup (cup) semisweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the mashed bananas, sunflower seed oil, whisked egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, white sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir the banana mixture into the dry ingredients until just blended. Be careful not to overmix.
