Ingredients

  • 3 Cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14 Ounces (oz) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 0.75 Cups nuts, chopped
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) vanilla extract

Steps

  1. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously until smooth.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped nuts (if using) and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a wax-paper-lined 8- or 9-inch square pan.
  4. Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and place it onto a cutting board. Peel off the wax paper and cut the fudge into squares.
  6. Store the fudge covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your creamy chocolate nut fudge delight!
