- 1 Pound (lb) lean beef, ground
- 16 Ounces (oz) can chili beans, packaged
- 16 Ounces (oz) bottle French dressing
- 1.25 Ounces (oz) package taco seasoning mix, packaged
- 14.5 Ounces (oz) package tortilla chips
- 1 Whole head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 2 Cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 Cup tomatoes, minced
- 0.5 Cup salsa, packaged
- 4 Tablespoons (tbsp) sour cream
Steps
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir the ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard the grease.
- Stir in the chili beans, French dressing, and taco seasoning mix. Fill the empty dressing bottle 2/3 full of water and add to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
