- 0.25 - Cups peanut oil
- 2 - Tablespoons (tbsp) soy sauce
- 2 - Tablespoons (tbsp) balsamic vinegar
- 2 - Tablespoons (tbsp) green onion, sliced
- 1.5 - Teaspoons (tsp) brown sugar
- 1 - Clove garlic, minced
- 0.75 - Teaspoons (tsp) ginger, ground
- 0.5 - Teaspoons (tsp) red pepper flakes, crushed
- 0.5 - Teaspoons (tsp) sesame oil
- 0.125 - Teaspoons (tsp) salt
Steps
- Whisk together peanut oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, green onions, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil, and salt in a bowl.
- Place the salmon fillets in a glass dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
- Preheat a barbecue or gas grill.
- Oil the grill rack and adjust the height to 5 inches from the coals.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill.
- Grill for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at the thickest part, or until the fish just flakes when tested with a fork. Turn halfway through cooking.
