- 1 Medium head cabbage
- Water, to cover
- 1 Pound (lb) ground beef
- 1 Cup cooked rice, tenderized
- 2 Whole garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Medium onion, minced
- 1 Large egg
- 12 Fluid Ounces (fl oz) can tomato juice
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) white sugar
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) fresh parsley, torn
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) kosher salt, divided
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) black pepper, divided
- 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) oregano, dried
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) butter, melted

- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the head of cabbage and boil for 15 minutes until the leaves are pliable. Drain and let cool.
- Carefully remove the hard outer vein from each cabbage leaf.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, half-cooked rice, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, 0.25 tsp salt, and 0.25 tsp pepper. Mix well.

- In a separate bowl, mix the tomato juice, vinegar, sugar, remaining salt, pepper, and oregano. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
