- 0.5 Cup soy sauce
- 4 Whole lemons, juiced
- 0.25 Cup yellow mustard, prepared
- 0.25 Cup fresh chives, minced

- 0.25 Cup fresh thyme, minced
- 2 Teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon paprika
- 3 Tablespoons herb seasoning blend, salt-free
Steps
- Gather all ingredients.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and mustard.
- Stir in chives, sage, oregano, parsley, thyme, garlic, paprika, and herb seasoning. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Place turkey or chicken in a 30-gallon plastic kitchen bag. Pour marinade over the bird. Remove air from the bag, seal with a twist tie, and rotate to coat the poultry. Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours, repositioning the bag every 4 hours.
- Remove poultry from the bag before roasting. Transfer marinade to a saucepan, boil for a few minutes, and use to baste the turkey every 30 minutes while roasting. Discard any remaining marinade when the turkey is done.
