- 2.5 - Tablespoons (tbsp) olive oil
- 2 - Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 - Teaspoon (tsp) fresh parsley, minced
- 0.25 - Teaspoon (tsp) fresh rosemary, minced
- 0.5 - Teaspoon (tsp) fresh chives, minced
- 0.25 - Cup Cabernet Sauvignon
- 0.5 - Teaspoon (tsp) salt
- 0.75 - Teaspoon (tsp) black pepper, ground
- 0.25 - Teaspoon (tsp) dry mustard powder
Steps
- Place the flat iron steak inside a large resealable bag.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, rosemary, chives, red wine, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
- Pour the marinade over the steak in the bag. Press out as much air as possible and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and place it in the hot skillet. Discard any remaining marinade.
