  • 1 - 16 Ounces (oz) package pork sausage, ground
  • 1 - 16 Ounces (oz) package sage pork sausage, ground
  • 0.5 - Cups celery, minced
  • 1 - Medium onion, minced
  • 0.5 - Pounds (lb) fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 - 5 Ounces (oz) can water chestnuts, drained
  • 0.25 - Teaspoons (tsp) garlic powder
  • 2 - Whole eggs, whisked

Steps

  1. Prepare the instant long grain and wild rice according to the package directions.
  2. While the rice is cooking, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large, deep skillet, cook the ground pork sausage and ground sage pork sausage over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Drain and set aside.
