- 1 9-Inch double pie crust
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, divided

- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, lemon juice, and cream of tartar. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
