  • 0.5 Cups (cup) butter, melted
  • 0.67 Cups (cup) white sugar
  • 2 Large eggs, whisked
  • 1 Cup (cup) buttermilk
  • 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) baking soda
  • 1 Cup (cup) cornmeal
  • 1 Cup (cup) all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) salt

Steps

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square pan.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Quickly whisk in eggs.
