Ingredients

  • 1 Cup macaroni
  • 3 Whole eggs
  • 0.25 Cup Ranch-style salad dressing
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) white sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons (tsp) white wine vinegar
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 2 Cups green peas, thawed
  • 3 Whole green onions, minced
  • 2 Medium sweet pickles, minced
  • 2 Stalks celery, minced
  • 1 Cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the macaroni until al dente. Rinse under cold water and drain.
  2. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover completely with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let the eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel, and chop.
  3. Whisk together the Ranch-style salad dressing, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, chopped eggs, thawed peas, green onions, sweet pickles, celery, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well. Chill before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Enjoy!
