- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) white sugar
- 0.5 Cups peanut oil
- 6 Large garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Serrano peppers, minced
- 1 Pound (lb) boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
- 1 Red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 4 Cups cooked jasmine rice, chilled
- 2 Cups sweet Thai basil
- 1 Cucumber, sliced
- 0.5 Cups cilantro sprigs
Steps
- Gather all ingredients.
- Whisk together oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar in a small bowl; set aside.
- Heat peanut oil in a wok over medium-high heat until the oil begins to smoke. Add garlic and Serrano peppers, stirring quickly.
- Stir in chicken, bell pepper, onion, and the oyster sauce mixture; cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
