  • 1 Whole all-beef hot dog
  • 1 Whole poppy seed hot dog bun
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) yellow mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) sweet green pickle relish
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) onion, minced
  • 2 Whole tomato wedges
  • 1 Whole dill pickle spear
  • 2 Whole sport peppers
  • 1 Pinch celery salt, to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, place the hot dog in the water, and cook until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Remove the hot dog from the water and set aside.
  2. Place a steamer basket into the pot and steam the poppy seed bun until warm, about 2 minutes.
  3. Place the hot dog in the steamed bun. Pile on the toppings in this order: mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickle, peppers, and celery salt.
