  • 0.5 Cup butter, melted

  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) onion powder
  • 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 2 Pounds (lb) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2 Cups panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) fresh thyme, minced
  • 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) kosher salt

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish with a bit of the melted butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the process cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, half of the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
