Ingredients
- 1 Cup chicken broth
- 2 Medium slices onion, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 Cups milk
- 0.5 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Pound lobster meat, cubed
- 0.5 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Pinch cayenne pepper, ground
Steps
- In a small frying pan, place 1/4 cup of chicken broth and the onion slices. Cook over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes until the onions are tender.
- In a medium-sized pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Slowly whisk in the flour to create a creamy mixture.
- Gradually pour in the remaining chicken broth, whisking constantly. Add the milk, salt, cooked onions, lobster meat, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Continue to heat the mixture until it is almost boiling. Be careful not to let the soup boil, as the milk may curdle. Serve hot and enjoy!
