- 2 Pounds (lb) venison stew meat
- 3 Medium onions, minced
- 2 Whole garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Whole bay leaf
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) dried thyme
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) salt
- 3 Cups water
- 7 Small potatoes, peeled
- 1 Pound (lb) parsnip, minced
- 0.25 Cups all-purpose flour
- 0.25 Cups water
Steps
- In a large soup pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the venison stew meat and brown it deeply on all sides.
- Stir in the minced onions and minced garlic, cooking until the onions are translucent.
