  • 1 Cup butter, melted
  • 0.5 Cup white sugar
  • 1 Cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Whole eggs, whisked
  • 2.5 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and whisked eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just blended.
  5. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
