Ingredients

  • 1 Ounces (oz) wheel Brie cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) apricot preserves
  • 1 Sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 Egg white, whisked

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the Brie cheese wheel in half horizontally to create two circles of cheese.
  3. Spread the preserves on the cut side of one circle of Brie. Place the other circle of Brie on top, rind-side up, to reassemble the wheel.
  4. Wrap the entire wheel of Brie with the puff pastry, ensuring it is fully enclosed. Transfer the wrapped Brie onto the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
  5. Brush the puff pastry with the egg white to give it a shiny finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the pastry is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or sliced fruits for an elegant presentation.
