- 1 Pound (lb) beef, ground
- 1 Whole sweet onion, minced
- 2 Whole garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Pinch salt, to taste
- 1 Pinch black pepper, to taste
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) garlic powder
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) onion powder
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) parsley, dried
- 28 Ounces (oz) can baked beans with pork
- 1.5 Tablespoons (tbsp) yellow mustard, prepared
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1.5 Cups honey garlic barbecue sauce
Steps
- Cook and stir the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until evenly browned; drain excess fat.
- Add the minced onion and garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion becomes transparent, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley into the beef mixture; cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the canned baked beans to the beef mixture. Stir in the mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and barbecue sauce until well blended.
