Ingredients

  • 4 Large onions, peeled
  • 0.5 Cups (cup) butter, melted
  • 4 Cubes chicken bouillon

Steps

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Peel the outer layer off the onions. Slice a small section off one end of each onion and create a small hole in the center.
  3. Fill the center of each onion with a bouillon cube and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Replace the top of the onion and wrap it in aluminum foil.
  4. Place the onions on the preheated grill over indirect heat and close the lid. Cook until tender, about 1 hour.
  5. Remove the tops, cut the onions into bite-sized chunks, and place them in a serving dish with all the juices from the foil.
