Ingredients

  • 4 Cups chow mein noodles
  • 3 Cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, melted
  • 30 Small jellybeans

Steps

  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil and grease it with spray-on cooking oil.
  2. Pour the chow mein noodles into a large bowl.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the noodles, stirring until the noodles are well coated.
  5. Rub some butter on your hands and form the noodle mixture into six round balls. Place the balls on the prepared cookie sheet.
  6. Using the back of a teaspoon, press the center of each ball to create a hollow indentation.
  7. Allow the nests to set until they are firm.
  8. Fill each nest with small jellybeans or other small candies of your choice, such as M&M's, small gumdrops, chocolate-covered raisins, or chocolate-covered peanuts.
