Ingredients
- 2 14.5 Ounces (oz) stewed tomatoes
- 3 Cups water
- 2 Cups beef broth
- 1 Cup fresh lima beans
- 1 Cup frozen corn kernels
- 1 Cup carrots, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) onion, minced
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 Gallon water
- 10 Blue crab claws, steamed
- 1 Pound (lb) blue crab crabmeat
Steps
- Gather all ingredients.
- In a 4-quart pot, combine stewed tomatoes, 3 cups of water, beef broth, lima beans, corn, sliced carrots, minced onion, and Old Bay seasoning. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
- In a separate large pot, bring 1 gallon of water to a boil. Add crab claws and boil for 6 minutes, then drain.
- Stir the crabmeat and boiled crab claws into the tomato and vegetable mixture. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
