- 21 Ounces (oz) can cherry pie filling
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) cinnamon, ground
- 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) nutmeg, ground
- 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) kosher salt
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it on the oven rack to melt.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Once the butter is melted, remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour the batter into the dish over the melted butter, but do not stir.
