- 1 6.5 Ounces (oz) can minced clams
- 0.25 Cups water
- 4 Whole potatoes, diced
- 1 Whole onion, minced
- 2 Cups milk
- 1 12 Fluid Ounces (fl oz) can evaporated milk
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) dried parsley
- 0.25 Teaspoons (tsp) dried thyme
- 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) Old Bay Seasoning
- 0.125 Teaspoons (tsp) celery salt
- 1 Pinch ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 Cup crushed saltine crackers
Steps
- Drain the clams, reserving the liquid, and set aside.
- In a large pot, combine the reserved clam liquid with water, potatoes, and onion. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
