- 6 Ounces (oz) baby spinach leaves
- 0.75 Pounds mushrooms, sliced
- 0.75 Pounds Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 Whole red onion, minced
- 1 Cup mandarin oranges

- In a small skillet over medium-high heat, combine the slivered almonds and 3 tablespoons of white sugar. Cook and stir until the sugar is melted and coats the almonds, about 3 minutes. Spread the almonds in a single layer on waxed paper to cool.
