Ingredients

  • 1.5 Pounds (lb) elk roast
  • 1.5 Tablespoons (tbsp) steak seasoning
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) rubbed sage
  • 10.5 Ounces (oz) can condensed cream of onion soup
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Small onion, minced
  • 4 Whole garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Cup sour cream

Steps

  1. Season the elk roast generously with steak seasoning and rubbed sage. Place the seasoned roast into a slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of onion soup, water, minced onion, and minced garlic. Stir until well mixed.
