- 1 Pound (lb) vermicelli pasta
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) vegetable oil
- 1 Pound (lb) medium shrimp, peeled
- 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, melted
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) Parmesan cheese, grated
Steps
- Cook the vermicelli pasta in a large pot of boiling water with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil until al dente.
- Meanwhile, place the shrimp in boiling salted water for 3 to 5 minutes, just until they turn pink. Remove the tails and place the shrimp in a bowl of warm water.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of minced garlic. Microwave on high for 45 seconds, or until melted. Stir well.
