- 8 Ounces (oz) beef filet, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) vegetable oil
- 1 Medium onion, minced
- 1 Clove garlic, minced
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) fresh ginger root, minced
- 1 Medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 Medium carrot, julienned
- 10.5 Ounces (oz) can beef broth
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) cornstarch
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) white sugar
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) oyster sauce
- 1 Pinch salt, to taste
- 1 Pinch pepper, to taste
Steps
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until well browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
