  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 1 Pound (lb) lean ground beef, ground
  • 1 Cup onion, minced
  • 2 Whole garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 15 Ounces (oz) cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 28 Ounces (oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) distilled white vinegar
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch ground black pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring until browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes.
