  • 29 Ounces (oz) tomato sauce
  • 6 Ounces (oz) tomato paste
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) dried oregano
  • 16 Ounces (oz) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 12 Ounces (oz) cottage cheese
  • 0.5 Cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 Ounces (oz) lasagna noodles, packaged

Steps

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned.
  3. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and oregano to the skillet. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  4. In a large bowl, stir together mozzarella, cottage cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Spoon a layer of the meat mixture onto the bottom of a slow cooker.
  6. Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, breaking them to fit as needed.
  7. Top the noodles with a portion of the cheese mixture.
  8. Repeat the layering of sauce, noodles, and cheese until all ingredients are used.
  9. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, until the lasagna noodles are tender.
