  • 1 6 Ounces (oz) can crab meat, drained
  • 0.25 Cups cream cheese
  • 1 Large egg, whisked
  • 1 Cups fresh bread crumbs, divided
  • 0.25 Cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) fresh parsley, minced
  • 0.5 Teaspoons (tsp) kosher salt
  • 0.25 Teaspoons (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) lemon, zested

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with 0.5 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Chop enough stems to yield one cup. Brush the mushroom caps with the remaining olive oil.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped stems, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 4 minutes until softened. Remove from heat and let cool.
