Ingredients

  • 0.5 Cups (cups) butter, divided
  • 0.5 Cups (cups) olive oil, divided
  • 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) garlic, minced
  • 1.5 Cups (cups) fresh parsley, divided
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 Pinch red pepper, crushed
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch pepper, to taste
  • 16 Ounces (oz) package bow tie pasta
  • 2 10 Ounces (oz) containers oysters, drained
  • 1.25 Pounds (lbs) shrimp, peeled
  • 1 Pound (lb) lump crabmeat
  • 0.25 Cups (cups) fresh parsley, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt 0.5 cups of butter with 0.5 cups of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1.25 cups of parsley and cook for an additional minute. Add lemon juice, crushed red pepper, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Set the sauce aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the bow tie pasta until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a separate saucepan, bring a few cups of water to a boil. Add the oysters, then turn off the heat. Let them stand for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the remaining 0.25 cups of butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and firm. Add the crabmeat and drained oysters, cooking until the shrimp are opaque and the crab is heated through.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the seafood mixture in the skillet. Pour the prepared lemon garlic sauce over the pasta and toss gently to coat. Adjust seasoning with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the pasta to a serving dish and garnish with the remaining 0.25 cups of chopped parsley. Serve immediately with garlic bread on the side.
