- 0.5 Cups unsalted butter, melted
- 5 Pounds (lb) russet potatoes, peeled and shredded

- 6 Large eggs, whisked
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until it begins to soften and render grease.
- Add the minced onions to the bacon and cook until they are soft and translucent. Continue cooking until the mixture caramelizes and turns a deep, golden brown.
