Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups (c) water
  • 1.5 Cups (c) white sugar
  • 1 2 Inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 Pinch sea salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) lime zest, zested
  • 2 Cups (c) orange juice
  • 1 Cup (c) mango juice
  • 0.33 Cup (c) lemon juice

Steps

  1. Combine the water, white sugar, ginger, sea salt, and lime zest in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool, then strain it to remove the ginger slices.
  4. Stir in the orange juice, mango juice, and lemon juice.
  5. Cover the mixture and chill it in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  6. Fill an ice cream maker with the chilled mixture and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
