- 0.25 Cups red onion, minced
- 1.5 Tablespoons (tbsp) fresh cilantro, minced
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) fresh mint, minced
- 3 Tablespoons (tbsp) balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) olive oil
Steps
- Heat the canola oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and minced yellow onion. Cook and stir until the onion is softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the water, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper to the saucepan. Bring to a boil.
