- 4 Whole eggs
- 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
- 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) salt
- 0.5 Pound (lb) matzo cake meal
- 1 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.5 Teaspoon (tsp) cinnamon, ground
- 1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, beat the sugar and butter with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture; mix until thoroughly combined.
- Using a wooden spoon, mix in the matzo meal, cocoa powder, and optional cinnamon.
- Switch to the mixer and beat until the batter is thoroughly combined and smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl, for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the center of the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Slice into 18 squares and transfer to a serving plate.
- Place the plate on a wire rack until the brownies are thoroughly cooled, about 30 minutes.
